Hoshangabad city to be renamed as this River

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has announced on Friday, Feb 19 that Hoshangabad will be named Narmadapuram. It is located on the south bank of the Narmada River, which is 74 km from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. It was named after Hoshang Shah, the first ruler of Malwa and is famous also for its beautiful ghats.
